Review on Nalgene Mouth Water Bottle 1 Quart by Josh Sharp

I first bought a Tritan water bottle but couldn't forget that it was made of "7" plastic and found myself avoiding it. HDPE suits me better. I love that it's in the same plastic safety category as milk jugs. Love the retro look and the very forgiving semi-soft opaque material as opposed to the shiny one which was just begging to be scratched and potentially used as a weapon. There was a faint plastic smell on arrival so I washed the bottle with unscented dish soap, then filled it with vinegar and water and let it sit, then filled it with plain water and let it sit. After such treatment there is no smell, taste, nothing, no matter how much water is in it. I use this water bottle daily and have found that my hydration level has increased now that I have a bottle that I feel good and confident with.
