I've had Norelco triple head razors and typical three or five blade hand scrapers. This is my first introduction to foil electric shavers. Before I decided on the Panasonic ARC3, I read reviews and checked the prices. The advantage of this model is that it can be shaved both dry and wet. I've tried both and honestly prefer not to use shaving cream or gel. I think I get a closer shave without the foam. I charged the ARC3 and since it was partially charged it didn't take long. I've used it twice and the battery level hasn't dropped. The time shows the battery life. The ergonomics of this shaver are really comfortable. The razor isn't small, but it's not heavy either. It fits my hand and, as I said, the pivoting head makes it easy to shave along the chin and jawline. This razor works differently than a rotating head like the Norelco. The ones I've used used circular motions, while this ARC3 is best for linear or up and down motions. Vicinity. I don't think this razor shaves as close as a scraper. But for me it's not far. I may have to walk the area twice instead of once. The pop up trimmer works better than the attachment I use with other mustache trimmers. This may be more due to the ergonomics of the ARC3. Cleaning your razor after using shaving cream is very easy after reading the instructions. And since the parts come off so easily, I think changing foils and blades should be just as easy. With that in mind, I found the blade cover to fit well and hold securely. I didn't have any skin sensitivity when shaving with cream or dry shaving. I had the same problem with electric rotary razors. Overall, I really like the Panasonic ARC3! I think it was well designed, comfortable and easy to use and gives me a very good shave in a short amount of time. If I had known the foil razor was that good, I would have bought it sooner! And the price has dropped by $30 since I bought it.
