I love my red trash can on the stairs but I don't like the white trash bags that mess up the color scheme just for them. I had it for three years and finally decided to do something about it. I ordered three different small black or red garbage bags (not easy to find actually) and these 1.2 gallon Beagale bags were the best of them all. Yes you will need to use two hands to pry the next bag off the roll, they are not as easy as grabbing a napkin due to the way they are folded but if you give yourself a few extra seconds and look closely to see the perforated line They really tore it (on both sides!), the pouches really do come off the roll without tearing a hole. When you make it, the bags are solid, and while they're a little oversized for my real 1.2-gallon trash can, I use the twist-and-tuck method to tighten the lid around the rim and once I sticking it in the glass leaves a nice clean look that blends with the overall color scheme. It always annoyed me that no matter how decorative and beautiful the recycling bin is, it was ruined by a sloppy, loose white bag. Well, not anymore. Photos tell a story. Also, I measured my 1.2 gallon size flat and open and filled. When laid flat it is 16 inches wide and 16 inches high. When filled and expanded they are about 11 inches tall with a hole about 10 inches in diameter. You can see my published photos which also match these numbers.
