Wow. I've always heard they were inaccurate, but now I know exactly how bad they are. Not sure if they have expired but the badge is valid until 05/2021 so I doubt it. Followed the instructions to T and got the same results twice. Both tests showed my pH as 6.0 which I checked and monitored daily at 7.5 for my fancy goldfish. I used my liquid pH test from the API Master Kit which I used regularly and of course still at 7.5. The stripes literally didn't change before or after the dive. Nitrites in my tank are 0 but nitrates are 5-10ppm (although I don't expect an inaccurate test strip to show that too) but it didn't detect any hardness either. I received the strips for quick stiffness testing. but obviously not even good for it, do me a favor and don't buy, $6 for 4 useless strips is a waste.
