This rating applies to the USB 3.0 version of this product. This is a compact SD/MicroSD card reader equipped with a single LUN Genesys Logic GL3233 USB 3.0 card reader controller capable of speeds up to UHS-I. I'm pointing this out because the question answered by the manufacturer in the Q&A section of this product listing states that UHS-II speeds are supported without specifying that this is only for the USB-C version of this product. I'm sure this wasn't intended by Verbatim, but I was looking for a USB 3.0 UHS-II card reader and based on the answer in the FAQ I figured it would fit. It's still a very useful, very portable SD/MicroSD card reader when you need speeds up to UHS-I and don't need the ability to read or write to both card slots simultaneously. Built-in Cables I appreciate the fact that this card reader has a connector that connects directly to the circuit board. If I had all of these features plus UHS-II speed, this would be my go-to SD/MicroSD card reader.
