I must say right away - after reading the discussions, when buying, I sincerely thought that it would be either love at first sight, or hatred to the grave. In the end, it turned out that this is just a very good laptop. There was no terrible transitional period with breakdowns and longing for Windows, I took it out of the box, set it up and started using it, like this, right off the bat. -Assembly and materials, of course, are amazing, it feels completely at your own expense. -A really cool screen, 100% SRGB coverage and stuff like that, you know. It is really a pleasure to work with him, the True Tone function turned out to be quite a useful thing, the eyes get tired less. The anti-glare coating is chic, you don’t even notice that the screen is glossy (in the past I preferred matte ones). -Touch-bar is a rather controversial thing, on the one hand, in some places it seems to make life easier (working with tabs in the browser, the ability to adjust the volume / brightness, blocking the session and much more). In some places, frankly screwed "to be" - video rewind in YouTube, seriously, Apple? In some places, the function keys are frankly lacking, as in the same Intellij Idea, in which the fingers themselves remember hot key combinations for a long time. -Touch ID - a very cool thing without any "buts", you get used to it instantly. -OS - beautiful, smooth, stable, a lot of little things that make life easier. Works flawlessly with iPhone and AirPods. The ability to receive a call on a smartphone with the Touch-bar causes a real WOW effect. - The touchpad is the bomb. Along with the screen, the main selling point. -Keyboard - but here everything is not so smooth. No, it hasn't broken for me yet, it's just that the key travel is too short for my taste. Overall, it's a great working machine. Before you take it, think about how much you need it, if you just want a Mac, I would look towards a regular MacBook Air, it has a longer battery life, unlike Pro models, there are both Touch-Id and function keys in place.
