Solid board with flexible options

Nice looking board with a reasonable layout. I am using this board with Intel i5-10600k. The feature set is good, with plenty of USB ports and built-in Wi-Fi. I don't recall reading this anywhere in the Gigabyte specs, but the included Wi-Fi antenna has a magnetic base. It's a nice touch and in my case keeps the antenna in place until I find a better spot for it! Pros: โ€ข Classic board layout, simplifies assembly โ€ข Integrated Wi-Fi โ€ข Low VRM temperatures with unlocked processors - tested with my own chip and video reviews with i7 and i9 show the same โ€ข Smart Fan 5 makes it easy to control your fans to steer and their curves. Cons: โ€ข Initially, the board did not recognize the installed RTX 2070 GPU. There wasn't even a map. My motherboard came with BIOS version F2 and updating to F4 did the trick. The update was easy to do with the Gigabyte @BIOS utility. The fact that the motherboard doesn't recognize the graphics card seems pretty silly though โ€ข The top I/O ports have some play - they move noticeably when you try to plug in the USB cable. Other Thoughts: This was my second build with a gigabyte board and I would definitely recommend it to other users. Setup was easy and quick. It has all the necessary features for those who want to create a powerful slot machine. There's even a muted, pale orange glow of the AORUS logo on the circuit board.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
