I will update my review after experimenting with the laptop; However, this problem keeps popping up and for some reason it's not fixed on the page, so here's another spot where it's fixed: *** This laptop definitely comes with a 512 SSD, not the petite one 128 *** (512 by today's standards is getting small!). but luckily there is an expansion bay here too :D As far as I can tell if you are looking for a powerful laptop that can play mid to high end games for the next 1-2 years then this is it She. General non-gaming general computing specs should allow this laptop to last at least 3-4 years, if not longer (I keep everything until it dies, so I'm looking for 7-8 years like my last). Personally, I needed this setup more for analyzing large amounts of data, but I also wanted something I could plug into a 4k TV at the end of the day and play some up-to-date games, what can it do (though if that's your main goal or you If you are a competitive player you'd better build a real HDCP machine, although it still works for most modern games with High/Ultra settings, this card type won't keep up with new versions longer than the next 6 Months). An interesting fact about the graphics card is that this particular RTX 3060 laptop model actually has more Cuda cores than the desktop model (i.e. it can handle certain things faster) but less memory. There are certain applications where it outperforms the desktop version, but it's a bit slower in most gaming situations with large RAM demands. (Again, if gaming is your PURE goal and not a combined value like mine, go for a 3070 or 3080 model if you can afford it, as the jump in gaming specs is pretty big.) However, for the current price I got this laptop for ($1350) and considering the ONLY graphics card is now $600-$700 that's just a killer perk. With impending chip shortages continuing and potentially widening, and while I usually only buy something like this on Black Friday or another holiday with guaranteed sales, this is a pretty good time to buy as there is a risk of the shortage worsening. (Another nice touch: If you're looking to rent or buy a new car, DO IT NOW. Chip shortages will hurt auto production in September, and then prices will skyrocket, according to my inner friend.) Of course, no one can predict the future , but I've decided to throw that information away, just in case. Obviously future people reading this will know if this happened or not! Again, after additional testing, I confirm that this computer meets my expectations. I'm usually the strict Samsung/ASUS/MSI type, so here's my first experience with an expensive Acer product, or at least my first in over a decade. Update. For your health.
