Great while driving. Some functional issues

I have 2. They work well, the sound is pretty good and with little wind noise it sounds pretty good. Ease of installation. The battery lasted long enough when playing music. A variety of mounting options and a soft and hard microphone allow you to work on many helmets. The buttons work well and are easy to use with gloves. While I list the things I don't like below, I would still buy them again as I'd rather buy several and attach one to each helmet than an expensive headset that needs to be moved. Problems 1) The battery indicator is not reliable. , and due to an older version of Bluetooth (I think) it doesn't pass battery info to your phone. You have to rely on the device screen. The problem is that it's very unreliable and starts beeping a low battery when it seems like you have almost half the battery left. Once it starts beeping, it won't stop and is really annoying. I probably get 5 to 10 hours before I hear the beep, so it's definitely good enough for most trips. 2) The volume does not depend on the volume of the phone (I think the old version of Bluetooth). This means you can use the device at full volume, but your phone's Bluetooth volume has its own settings, maximum, zero, etc. This means that for the best audio output, try to keep your phone's volume at around 70% Hold and then adjust headset volume while driving to get a good range of levels. It's hard to explain, but on newer Bluetooth versions they have the same volume, so turning the knob on the headset independently adjusts the phone's output. 3) Helmet clip: The clip has a really hard time releasing the headset from the clip once mounted on the helmet. And you need to charge it frequently due to problem #1, which is why you talk about it a lot. This is both the angle of your helmet and the angle of the clamp. You can force it, but then you shift the position of the clip that attaches to your helmet. It depends on the helmet but I've tried 3 and it's not smooth. However, it stays in place while driving, so that's a good thing.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Good but not great
