I buy them in packs for welding on clips and for attaching flexible stuff to hard stuff. I have probably 30 of these here and there. A more useful flexible pad option is for thinner materials and uneven spacing. Typically, my welding cart is outfitted with two welders and gas cylinders with 15 or more 6" Tekton clips and as many for 4" C-clips hanging in rows of about 1" long square steel holsters welded together. Eventually these things move back and forth and the solution is to buy more. ON ARRIVAL THEY ARE PAINTED SOLAR OR SAFETY YELLOW. Everything on me is yellow, which of course is out of place. You have no idea how many tools you have until you start painting them yellow where the unsuitable ones stand out.
