Review on 🦎 Exo Terra Outback Terrarium 24x18x12, 20 Gallon by Lisa Perez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

EXCELLENT PURCHASE! suitable for reptiles and amphibians

This is my first time using Exo Terra and I am not disappointed! On arrival the terrarium was safe and sound, although the packing box was a bit worn and damp due to recent rainy days. There were 2 or 3 GLASS stickers on the shipping box to indicate the fragility of the product so I wasn't worried about anything being broken upon arrival. The box was huge but easy to carry - provided you have a large enough wingspan! My lion Gelatin loves the new environment! Benefits: β€’ You can lock the front doors to prevent animals from escaping! The Exo Terra logo is essentially a mechanism that locks doors. Just twist it clockwise and it will unlock! β€’ Removable 3D background. The backdrop is made from styrofoam and allows you to run cables behind it and through the holes in the top of the terrarium frame. Say hello to cable management! β€’ 4 mesh top locks. There are 4 semicircular locks on the top of the terrarium which can be turned to lock the lid. On the back, you'll find a "close and hide" feature of sorts on either side of the top, which hides the cable cutouts when not in use. Very convenient! Cons: I've only been in the terrarium for an hour or two, so I don't have much to say now! I will update this review when I see more. β€’ The foam pad is very dense and if you move it you will see the foam flakes fall off. β€’ Lanyard holes are only on the back of the terrarium. If you are using a probe thermometer and want to place the thermometer at the front of the terrarium, make sure the cord is long enough to reach behind the terrarium and under the foam. You CANNOT add cables to the side of the tank unless you plan on using a mesh top.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
