Review on 🎡 DIGITNOW USB Cassette Player Recorder with Speaker, Radio Recording - Convert Cassette Tape to Digital MP3 with Ease by Wagner Witlin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good player, suitable for portable audio and video

I recently bought the green version of this player and have been using it for cassettes lately. I think some of the negative reviews are expecting too much from this player. I would probably rate it 3.5 stars if I could give it half a star. One negative thing I have about this player: the bottom hinge doesn't like to close, I have to move the door a bit when I close it. It works, but not the way it should. Since recording and ejecting tapes is such a basic function, I have to call them for it. Otherwise I like it. It reminds me of the wannabe off-brand Walkmans from the 80's where the build quality wasn't quite as solid but the sound was pretty much the same. However, this thing has a lot more to offer. The only speaker on the front sounds surprisingly decent. That's about the same quality as listening to music through the phone's speaker, but maybe even slightly better. The radio tuner works quite well and I like that it can run on both battery and USB CI. Haven't tried recording from tape yet, but Windows 10 doesn't seem to have a problem recognizing the device. For those looking for ultra-high fidelity, historically that would have meant a Denon DJ tape deck or other high-end stereo rackmount gear. Even then, it could get pretty expensive. I don't know if they still make high end cassette players but if they do expect to pay a lot more for it.

Cons
