Review on 🌡️ Genesis GHG1500A Temperature Nozzle Add-ons by Bruce Marable

I had to solder some wires to the 120V fans. These connectors need to be insulated for safety, but I just can't stand duct tape. I had heat shrink tubing but my old heat gun died. Using matches or a lighter is not well suited. Since I don't do much of this work anymore I wanted a cheap replacement and I wanted some nozzle tips to better control the heat. This weapon is inexpensive, but not cheap. It looks and feels like an instrument that is many times more expensive. It generates an enormous amount of heat with a maximum power of 1500W; Genesis claims it can be used to solder water pipes. Be careful! I'll probably use the 750W Low setting for everything. The nozzle tips are heavier than expected and are secure. Definitely not a cheap feeling. I like the design feature that allows it to lie securely on its back on a workbench and face up to allow two-handed operation when needed. Cons: The stitching on the front of the handle is a bit awkward. I'll probably submit it straight away. never mind Caveat: After a few minutes of use, I saw quite a bit of white smoke coming off the gun; smelled of hot production residues (oil, insulation, paint etc.). It oozed out of the body of the gun like some kind of movie prop, but quickly shrank and completely disappeared after about 5 minutes of operation. This is perfectly normal, although this gun's tremendous heat dissipation earned it an Oscar for best short-duration smoke from a smokeless grenade I've ever seen. I bet a lot of buyers return these shotguns after seeing the smoke. It would be wise for Genesis to "burn" it at the factory. called 911 breathlessly from the driveway. I suggest you "burn" it outside or near a window so you don't smell the house. As Douglas Adams would say: don't panic!
