Review on Viatti Strada Asimmetrico V-130 205/55 R16 91V summer by Ada Dudek

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing special, there are positives and negatives.

I took this rubber, because the price was comparable to China. I used it on Ford Mondeo 4. In 2022, it more than doubled in price. Drove for the summer season about 10 tkm. In my opinion, the rubber is designed for leisurely city driving and for speeds on straight roads of 90-110 km / h. Grip with dry asphalt is so-so, the rubber behaves like an old and hardened abs cracks during emergency braking, the car slows down, but not at all as good as you expect. If you drive 130 km / h on the Hong Kong-Peter highway, then this rubber is definitely not for you. If a truck suddenly changes lanes in front of you, there is every chance to catch up with it. I don’t talk about coatings with a wet or dirty surface, it’s just worse there. By wear: The wear indicator starts at 7mm or less, with approximately 9mm of total tread height. For 10 tkm, 1 mm along the front was definitely worn off, from the minuses I also want to note that part of the tread has a small depth and as it wears out, part of the slots will go away, affecting water drainage. There were no punctures during the season, I didn’t get into the pits, the driving mode is normal. Was on the last car Bridgestone Turanza, with Viatti of course the difference is big.

Pros
  • Was a good price in 2022
Cons
  • Average grip on pavement, noise, poor grip on pavement with sand, wet pavement
