Review on 🦮 Blue Camouflage Suitical Recovery Suit for Dogs by Rachel Murray

My German Shepherd had a large tumor removed from his 'lower abdomen' and a 6 inch incision was made at the end. I ruled out the tapered plastic collar I knew she would be wearing post-op and bought two of these recovery suits (one to keep clean as we changed it daily). The costumes were an absolute life saver! We took one to the vet and when she came out of recovery she was wearing pink camouflage. Colour! It completely covered her bandage so we didn't have to zip up the back. The suits held up well, holding her bandage and surgical drain in place. We're in Florida so another concern was that in the extreme heat and humidity she wore a "suit" when she was away on business, but the cotton suits were light enough not to overheat. a large safety pin to keep it from falling out at night! She never tried to bite or chew on it and was very comfortable throughout her two-week recovery. Being made of cotton, they also absorbed the liquid that flowed from her wound. I'm not sure what else would have held her bandage in place if it weren't for these costumes! We have bought different types of suits but they fit perfectly and fit "just right". My German Shepherd (female) weighs 100 pounds. and size XL fit perfectly. Highly recommended!
