Review on Oakley Square Wire Sunglasses: Rectangular Frame Design by Kevin Gray

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I love these sunglasses

This is my third pair of Oakley and my second pair of Iridium. The first two framesets were broken or damaged beyond repair, but don't let that put you off. I beat my sunglasses to death so I'm amazed they lasted so long. I wear prescription glasses, so I'm constantly switching between regular glasses and Oakleys on sunny days. I carry them in my pocket and they turn on 20-30 times a day. And I'm an optometrist's nightmare; with one hand (I rip off my glasses with one hand and stuff them in my pocket in one fluid motion. My Oakleys are also prescription glasses. I bought this set to replace a frame that broke in a train fight (I told you I'm tough on these things.) So my review doesn't really apply to the lenses, as I quickly removed them from the frame and replaced them with my custom prescription lenses. These frames don't seem to have all the options , which the frames have, mine (mirror finish, stretch-resistant coating, etc.) so I'm not sure if that's relevant, but I really like my lenses, they improve vision on a cloudy winter day in the Pacific Northwest as well as the scorching one South Pacific sun (and I used them in both scenarios) I'm not worried about ski goggles, they are better.

Pros
  • Metal frame
Cons
  • Infuriates
