We've been using brand name turkey bags for decades, but we haven't had time to bring them to the store. I read several Revain reviews for different bags and settled on this one. These bags are just as DURABLE as other bags. Our 21# turkey was DELICIOUS cooked in one of those bags. No fuss, no mess! The only IMPROVEMENT I would recommend is INCLUDING cooking instructions for using these pouches in the oven. I wasn't sure if they also need 1 tbsp. Rather than risk ruining our turkey, I decided to do the above like I've been cooking with packets for decades. The turkey was perfect. JUICY. lots of TENDER turkey with ZERO effort! And for the first time in 3-4 YEARS the turkey TIMER really popped up and I did NOT have to check the internal temp with a thermometer to verify it was fully cooked. I'm not sure if the bag affected the turkey timer, but the last 6-8 turkeys I cooked didn't show the timers. Which isn't a big deal but struck me as odd as they always turned up for me beforehand and every time my great grandma, grandma, mom, etc cooked turkeys. Packets can be sent from the freezer to the oven. I would (and plan to) buy these packs again.
