Great for freezing turkeys! And then cook!

We use them every year when we have a special turkey order for Christmas. Turkey keeps well in the freezer and tastes as fresh as when our customers eat their fresh poultry for Thanksgiving.

Pros
  • Beautiful Packaging
Cons
  • Factor Set

not your replacement oven bag Reynold

I used these as a replacement for Reynolds turkey and brine roasting bags. But every time I used them I found they leaked. I often double bag them so that the outer bag seals the opening of the inner bag. This halves the costs.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The list would be long.

No more scrubbing! for kitchen and dining room

If you're bribing or marinating turkeys, you need this! We have always used a cleaned radiator which we cleaned every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Well said, the radiator is a bit dusty. Husband found these saviors. I cleaned out an old 5 gallon bucket, put a bag in it, poured in the turkey and brine, tied it up and filled it with ice. Worked great, just threw it away and no need to exfoliate for Christmas! Does not add plasticine flavor to food. Did exactly what we needed.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • So So

I'm beside myself. I bought these bags based on the good reviews. But now we won't have a turkey for THANKSGIVING! MELTING PLASTIC ON MY TURKEY!? I followed the instructions and used the pastry bags many times. This goes beyond NOT OK. I can't believe I ruined our turkey. No bumps, right? THIS IS JUST THE MAIN DISH OF THE NATIONAL DAY DEVELOPING IN TURKEY! I NEED SOMEONE FROM THIS COMPANY TO FIX THIS NOW. I AM SO ANGRY

Pros
  • also understandable for the old ones
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Great for a very large turkey

I cooked a 28 pound turkey this year. I like to use roasting bags because the turkey cooks faster and stays juicy. But the casserole bags I usually use are only for a 24 pound turkey. I found these and decided to try them out. It worked wonderfully! This very large bird (barely) fits in a bag and takes just 3 hours to make! Add to that the experience that I ordered the Sunday before Thanksgiving and they were delivered the next day! Now they will be in my pantry, highly recommended!

Pros
  • Looking forward to

Sous Vide! Bags: Container Sets

I needed something to cook large batches of sous vide meat that didn't fit in my vacuum or ziplock bag. These bags have proven themselves very well. I've cooked a whole chicken, a ham, and tomorrow I'll start with a ten pound brisket. With a rating of up to 400*FI, you can immerse the brisket in boiling water for a few seconds to kill the lactic acid bacteria and then lower it into a water bath. Using water displacement leaves some room for air to escape from above. From now on I will use…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Interchangeability

Marinated a 24 pound turkey.

I am new to smoking and curing, I wanted to smoke a turkey for Thanksgiving, found them on Revain and tried them. Most turkey cooking and pickling recipes do not recommend using turkey bags because they are not strong enough and will leak. I filled a 23 liter aerosol can with one of these, poured in some brine, put the turkey in, then added the rest of the brine, tied the bag with a zip tie and put it in the fridge for 24 hours. No leaks, strong enough to hold a 24 lb turkey. They worked well…

Pros
  • Home and Kitchen
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Fermentation Bag - for food storage

After starting bread baking this year (with the rest of America, thanks Covid!), I realized I needed a few more oven bags to test my loaves. , but whatever it was, I was desperate, locked in the room, and Revane would deliver them in two days. Oooh! So I got these and they are amazing, very strong and I've used the same four over and over to help rise my bread. I also make a few spiral cut hams a year and I make them in casserole bags and I know they will be perfect. They are very strong/thick…

  • Food Container

  • The list will be long.

EXCELLENT Packages for Oven Turkey.

We've been using brand name turkey bags for decades, but we haven't had time to bring them to the store. I read several Revain reviews for different bags and settled on this one. These bags are just as DURABLE as other bags. Our 21# turkey was DELICIOUS cooked in one of those bags. No fuss, no mess! The only IMPROVEMENT I would recommend is INCLUDING cooking instructions for using these pouches in the oven. I wasn't sure if they also need 1 tbsp. Rather than risk ruining our turkey, I decided…
