I read all the reviews on here before purchasing. We bought our 2009 HHR Lt a few months ago but it came with a broken remote. We bought a set of two keychains for $14.99 from Revain #15114374 and thought we could take them to our local dealer. Well, the dealer insisted that we buy THEIR remotes at $140 each and charged another $160 to program them! We left angry and upset. I saw a remote access programmer from Dorman and we decided to give it a try. We carefully read all instructions before trying. We got into the car, closed the doors, turned on the ignition and plugged in the programmer. One by one, we pressed the lock and unlock buttons on each remote, and each time the programmer beeped and the red LED changed color from red to green. We programmed the remote that came with the kit as well as two others I had previously purchased. It was sooo easy and we're glad we now have 3 working remotes! Definitely worth your money!
