Perfect for children. If you're just using this for exploring and having fun at home, I highly recommend this. If you want to use them for a school project, this might be a good option. A few slides with larger items, you can see the plastic covering them which doesn't ruin the experience but if you're not 100% sure what you're looking for maybe check out plastic, that's what happened son. like the last one I adjusted and everything was fine. For the price and the amount you get, that little 'fault' is very easy to miss. I still recommend it
