Review on Fluke C50 Compact Soft 🧳 Case: Durable and Protective Storage Solution by Josh Tadder

I use the Fluke C116 case to carry my Fluke 189II/AN multimeter and my Fluke i410 AC/DC clamp meter. The Fluke 189II/AN is the same size as the Fluke 287/289. These gauges fit into a case that accommodates the 9000 Series Probe Master 9101R Test Lead Set and accessories. The bag has a pocket on the "lid" that closes with a small velcro to store accessories and/or cables. . Sliding padded divider allows for separation of test tools and/or accessories but is limited in number. There is padding along the inner perimeter of the case. The bag closes with a zipper on three sides. As noted in other reviews of this and current Fluke polyester cases, the appearance has changed from the photo on the product page. The tote bag is now all black with a rectangular piece of yellow rubbery material with "FLUKE" written in black stitched to the front of the bag, roughly covering the word FLUKE that appears in the product page photo. A C116 case that looks exactly like the promotional photo. The old C116 case I have uses a piece of nylon tape that goes all the way around the case. Attached to this nylon strap are the D-rings to which the carrying strap attaches. The new C116 case I received uses only two short lengths of nylon webbing sewn to either side of the case. Time will tell which method is best. The material used to form the inner pocket is MUCH thinner and softer in the new case. than the one used in the old tote bag. Time will tell how this new material holds up in use. Overall the case is very good but not great just because I have an older version of the same case which I feel is higher quality than I've paid the same price for several years. return. I understand that things can get more expensive, but today I would still pay a little more to get what felt or real extra quality was like the old version.
