The problem with the product on my computer was that Win 8.1 recognized it as (Logitech Unifying USB Receiver). Because of this misidentification, Windows ignored new USB card drivers. Inateck should fix this. I came up with the following workaround: Go to Start, Control Panel, Device Manager, and then select Universal Serial Bus Controllers. open it. Select the (Driver) tab, (Update Driver), (Browse my computer for a driver), select (Pick from a list) and finally (Composite USB Device) and then everything is fine. Now the product works, as soon as I received the card driver it worked without incident. Tested with my fastest USB 3.0 device, SSD with USB 3 adapter (see photo for results). Its speed was limited to 188 MB/s by the SSD. Delivers a decent amount of power but not enough to charge my phone at full amps. The maximum current it could deliver was 0.71A, which dropped the voltage from 5.00V to 4.68V. Even at that low voltage, I was able to transfer files to and from the computer.
