My 1 year old granddaughter loves the security of being buckled in and the hard plastic front protects her. She literally cries when we take her off the swing. It's so easy to assemble and secure, and it's just as easy to remove/disassemble. My 3 year old grandson is still nervous about the "big kids" swing after falling off one when he was two. He loves this swing because the buckle system allows him to feel secure with no plastic barrier. The high backrest detaches easily so he can recline far enough to learn how to swing his legs. At first I thought the price was quite high but worth the money for this swing that converts from a child to an older child that doesn't need any safety gear. (Saddle Swing Only) This swing is very sturdy and will stand the test of time and use. It's the only swing we'll ever need. It is excellent!
