Installing this replacement screen was a nightmare. First, the printed instructions were absolutely awful. They were vague at best. I had to watch a video from a YouTuber to install it properly. There was broken glass everywhere and the suction cup was completely useless. Also, the tools to separate the broken glass from the chassis didn't work at all. I used a razor blade to separate the broken screen from the iPad. I was careful not to cut the cables as shown in the YouTube video I watched, which by the way was excellent. Unfortunately, I lost the home functionality mainly due to my inexperience breaking the ZIF connector for the home button cable, and also because the printed instructions DID NOT explain how to flip the ZIF connector. Still, I could live with it if everything else worked out. The tape will NOT hold. I didn't try the glue that came with it as there are NO instructions on how to apply it and I didn't want to risk spilling the glue everywhere. Worst of all, my iPad has a horizontal bar that no longer registers touch inputs. I've included a video showing this. This is unacceptable! DO NOT buy this! You'd better pay a professional to replace your broken screen because you get at least a few months warranty!
