Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Raspberry Pi 3 B+ 3.5 inch Touch Screen with Case - 320x480 Pixel TFT LCD Game Display by Gregory Shin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Solid body, good screen

I have this to use with a Raspberry Pi 3b+ and it works great. All ports are easily accessible, only the micro SD slot is a bit cramped, but I still don't change it often. The screen looks pretty good, although the instructions for installing the screen weren't the best. , or where to place the racks and plastic spacer. The screen itself is pretty good although you have to be aware that you are buying a TFT display so the viewing angles aren't the greatest but the TFT panel is advertised clearly so for those who read the title and description it is worth it read, shouldn't be a surprise. . You'll need to figure out how to switch the Pi to use that screen instead of an external screen via HDMI (or both) as the instructions that came with me don't mention how to do that. The touchscreen was calibrated fairly well. out of the box, but I would still recommend calibrating it yourself after installation. All in all, if this screen and case fit your needs, then this is a pretty good option. If I need another screen like this for a future project I will most likely buy it again but I know it will probably take some intuition and research beyond the instructions to get it 100% working.

Pros
  • The screen display supports 125MHz SPI input, it can display stably without flickering, the refresh rate is about 50fps, which is enough for playing videos and games.
Cons
  • Doubtful
