Review on Mid-Century Ceramic Planter With Stand In White By Rivet - 14" Height by Martha Robinson

Definitely a half-a$$ version of a Gainey Planter

The planter and stand are good, but not great. For the money, It's an okay deal. But don't expect Gainey quality at this price. My pot came a bit lopsided.meaning its not perfectly round when you view it from the top. Definitely a bit more of an oval shape than a circle. Check out my photo.there's a perfectly round yogurt lid at the bottom of the planter for comparison/reference. Also the steel stand it came with is very meh. It's too large for the planter, the legs are crooked, and the welds are garbage. I have a weld bead on mine that's incomplete (see the light showing through where the two pieces should have been flush). Because the stand is steel, I was able to gently bend it it to improve its straightness slightly. As others have mentioned, there is no drainage hole at the bottom, but I was able to easily drill one using the correct bit. I will have to position this stand in a way that minimizes the lopside appearance and crooked stand legs. I will admit, the half glaze look is really cool. Unfortunately, the entire inside of the planter is fully glazed, so you don't get any of the drainage benefits of the exterior being partially unglazed.
