Beautiful and practical

This planter is just lovely. I love the color. I found it accurate to the picture. I also like that it’s contemporary with hints of farmhouse and mid century - fits the look and feel of my house perfectly. The profile is pretty reasonable and doesn’t stick out too far either. It sits nicely in a corner or the hallway. While it’s very sturdy, it’s also not overly heavy. I was able to move it around on my own easily. We bought it for our new fiddle lead fig. The measurements were perfect for…

Pros
  • Love the look and pottery. The stand is kind of flimsy… hope it can hold the weight of dirt.
Cons
  • May be too small for larger plants

Definitely a half-a$$ version of a Gainey Planter

The planter and stand are good, but not great. For the money, It's an okay deal. But don't expect Gainey quality at this price. My pot came a bit lopsided.meaning its not perfectly round when you view it from the top. Definitely a bit more of an oval shape than a circle. Check out my photo.there's a perfectly round yogurt lid at the bottom of the planter for comparison/reference. Also the steel stand it came with is very meh. It's too large for the planter, the legs are crooked, and the welds…

Pros
  • Adds a touch of sophistication to any room
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing to some individuals

Great Pot, Great Price

For some reason, all the other trendy "mid century plant stands" are INCREDIBLY expensive - about $50 - not even including the planter! So obviously this was a steal (about $30 when I bought it). It works so well! I have a pink and green aglaonema that's about 6"-7" tall and about as wide inside the pot. The stand is sturdy and very modern, not showy, which fits me. It's not really "green" - more like a textured off-white at the top.Note that the planter does NOT have a drainage hole at the…

Pros
  • Creates an overall feeling of comfort and coziness
Cons
  • May not provide enough stability for top-heavy plants

Looks great, really good value for Large sized pot with stand

Size: Large.Study, seems like a good quality product. Pot doesn’t fit snugly in the stand but I didn’t expect it to. No drip hole. I placed a potted plant and watering plate under it.I looked at a lot of pots and stands. I’m a huge fan of west elm but this was the best value I found. Can’t beat what you get for the price and how it looks. Would recommend.

Pros
  • Adds texture and warmth to any room
Cons
  • Not ideal for plants with aggressive root systems

SO WORTH THE MONEY!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these planters. I have looked for a long time for these modern planters. Many sites have a variation of these at twice the cost.I get many compliments aready so I ordered a couple more. All 5 of them came in excellent condition. I have all three sizes. Picture is the XL one. The small one is small and I put it on my whirlpool tub in master bath. The large one fits most medium plants. Be sure to measure your pot as I just put the original pots in the planter with a plastic water…

Pros
  • Beautifully designed for a sleek and minimalist look
Cons
  • May not be suitable for plants that require sunlight from multiple angles

Quality, sturdy, stylish planter

A beautiful mid century style planter - the planter itself is glazed on the tip half with an unglazed bottom half which lends itself to a nice muted 2-tone effect (probably better for the plant, too). The whole thing is HEAVY. The stand is a slightly rough black steel. The only gripe I have is that the pot fits in the stand sort of loosely - not in an unstable way, but enough to look a little off. Still, great value for the money. Here’s hoping for a dark version!

Pros
  • The planter and stand can be used separately for added versatility
Cons
  • Stand may not be sturdy enough for outdoor use in windy conditions

Impressive, but know what your buying.

First you have to know what your buying here. These pots are not meant to have plants planted directly in them. they are decorative. They have no drainage holes or space for a drip tray, so they would be bad for plants. They are however the perfect size to place plants in that are already potted in an appropriate (and usually ugly) pot.The actual pot is heavy and the glaze gives them a fun and modern look. The metal stand could be upgraded, but handles the weight of the pot and plant without…

Pros
  • Provides visual interest without taking up too much space
Cons
  • May easily stain or discolor from soil or water

Not as pictured or stated

The picture depicts the pot to fit the stand so snuggly, the legs touch the side of of the pot but in reality the pot is three inches smaller all the way around making it possible to shift the pot so it is unstable and capable of tipping over. The pot opening is on 7.5 inches not 8 and in my case the base of my artificial palm that I wanted to put in the pot is 8 inches wide, I need that half inch. I have to return the thing since it looks hoky with how small the pot is on the stand and it…

Pros
  • Provides a perfect display for your favorite houseplants
Cons
  • May not hold up well with frequent watering

Great buy! good for me

Obsessed is an understatement! The pot is a great quality with very little flaws in the glaze. The shape has great proportion and the color is consistent. The only thing I’d say is the stand is a bit too much bigger than the pot so you have to position it right, but this is just an aesthetic- the pot is very sturdy. Provides a great modern look for (my) large plants and falls perfectly with the aesthetic of the space.Def a worthwhile buy for a good price

Pros
  • The planter is large enough to accommodate a variety of plants
Cons
  • May require additional tools to assemble the stand

Just pick this one: my feedback

I kept going back and forth on different planters before I purchased this one and I’m so glad I did. Originally was worried that it would come damaged and I’m happy to report it came safely packaged inside a nice styrofoam box within the amazon on. Even though it does have the drainage hole cap it does leak a bit but nothing crazy. If you’re debating this definitely do it! Worth the price and the color I chose is gorgeous

Pros
  • The white color is versatile and timeless
Cons
  • Planter may be too shallow for plants with deep roots

LOVE LOVE LOVE! - my new review

I purchased a few of these planters once I realized I needed to repot my plants. They are very sturdy (I placed stones at the bottom for drainage), a lovely shade of black lacquer, and durable (I dropped one in my sink and it did not chip or crack). I chose to not use the stands, but those are also very sturdy if you choose to use. Highly recommend these planters!

Pros
  • No assembly required
Cons
  • May not hold up well in outdoor environments

Minimal look with slight contrast.

I looked at the planter forever before I finally ordered it & im so glad I finally did. It’s simple but has some contrast. The top 2/3 is glazed while the reminder is not. The quality se

Pros
  • This durable piece is designed for house plants but stands alone as a decorative piece as well.
Cons
  • Stand may be too tall for shorter furniture

Great value for the size and they look beautiful!

I've bought two pots from this line and the value for their size is awesome. They look beautiful to which is the jut a prefect trifecta. Good price, nice size, and they look great.

Pros
  • Perfect for indoor or outdoor use
Cons
  • Stand may not be resistant to water damage

Great sturdy pot as advertised. The plug is not going to be effective so if you are planning to use indoors, know that you will have to find a rubber stopper that fits the hole at the bottom. Also, if you’re doing indoor use, buy some felt-tip pads to cut up for the small feet.

Pros
  • Perfect for those who appreciate minimalist design
Cons
  • May not be the most cost-effective option for a plant holder
