We use these markers for our hobby of painting smooth river rocks and they are amazing. The ends are tight and will not fall off. The only caveat I want to make is that you get the best, smoothest line if you "pull" the pen toward you. If you "push" the line away from you (as if you were writing an "O") you will get some feathering unless you release the pressure. Or, if you're painting, just rotate the rock so that you're pulling the pencil towards you instead of pushing it away. We have these tips in extra fine, fine and medium tips and rarely use small brushes anymore.
