As you know when you buy petrol from a gas station you have to put a gasket around the hole to allow the petrol to flow. This gas bottle has a "protective screen" in the bottle neck that cannot be removed. I managed to get the gas hose all the way down the canister's neck and by pressing down hard I was finally able to start a jet of gas to fill the canister. After 2 seconds the gas started pouring onto the bottom because the screen wasn't letting the gas into the canister fast enough so that it spilled over the top. It is very difficult to control the flow of gas once you have properly sealed and pulled the lever to get the gas flowing. What an awful design. You can't use a fancy, "safe" gas canister if you can't fill it. I am sending it back for a refund.
