This lamp is ideal for long bike rides at night. It makes you visible and safe. There are enough wires attached to get to a power source (a 12v lithium battery in my case <not included>) and even a working one with a dimmer circuit, although it doesn't dim smoothly. Once installed and at right angles, it can be bent and twisted to fit the road as best as possible. The beam angle is a bit narrow, but perfectly adequate for the street. Maybe not for the trail when you need to see your sides. It's bright enough that a dimmer will help you a lot. The best headlight I've ever used. Even better than these 9 LED tractor headlights. I hope you can bring them back to storage, if I ever need a second one I'll go there straight away.
