I don't like that the velcro doesn't go all the way but it's patched. I can't wear it unless the non-velcro patches are hanging down and looking messy. Plus, the Heytrip logo facing forward means these gaps really catch the wind. I ended up putting it on with the logo on the back to avoid gusts of wind. I also agree that board straps are not good board straps. Have you ever seen your surfboard fly out of your car onto the freeway? Not pretty. As I sew I think I'll see more velcro to close the gaps but it's a hassle. I'm surprised more people didn't complain about velcro than 1 or 2 strips.
