Wow I am beyond impressed with this guy. I didn't know what to expect. I got my Cambell Hausfield pancake compress (old yellow model) from a wall texturizer who ridden it hard and wet cleaned it - but that's what I could afford at the time. There was always a defective filter on it. It's louder than a 747 turbofan at takeoff. After all these years it still works great. So I will not spend money to buy a new model. I bought this muffler and the difference in sound is amazing. I don't have a decibel meter but I would say the difference is significant. It ranges from the sound level of a thousand demons screaming to almost a level you could speak to. I'll have to test more to see if there are any performance changes, but that's the reality. Just be careful which thread you buy. Measure yours and use the PT chart to convert.
