Works great! Just what we needed, I need to prevent kids from connecting and playing at the same time. I think the fact that they're doing this while the gamepad is starting to die messed up the original we had. When the original we got with the Wii U wasn't charging properly, it would flicker constantly and then stop charging entirely. I did a little research and it seems to me that this is not uncommon for her. One tip I read that worked was to screw in and take out the gamepad battery, let it sit for 5 minutes, then put it back in and try to charge it. It helped us until we got this new one.
