Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

Some features. The battery is hidden under thecomver. Speaker grilles and air intake grille at the bottom of the keyboard halves. At the end of the half with a screen are small legs, they lift the laptop above the table when the half with the screen is open. The case has LED indicators for operation and power. Textured plastic around the keyboard (the rest of the case is smooth). The power button is in the upper rightcomrner of the digital block, and the Home, End, PgUp, PgDn keys arecommbined with the F9 - F12 keys. By default, the Fn key is “locked”, i. E. iscomnsidered pressed without the need to press it (for example, pressing the F7 key without Fn will turn on the keyboard backlight). Windows 11 Home Single Language Version 21H2 is preinstalled (as of January 2023, the ate to version 22H2 is available to 2022 users only through “workarounds”).Contrary to the reviews for this laptop, Windows 11 Home (like 10 Home) has a client for remote desktopcomnnection (no server). The full model name is ASUS VivoBook 17 R754EA-AU628W (90NB0TW1-M007X0). Another model name is ASUS VivoBook 17 X712EA, according to it there is a page with description and characteristics on the ASUS website - -intel/

Pros
  • Nice laptop with a big screen. It is not positioned as a game, the video card is built-in. Matrix 1920x1080, IPS, 250 nits (cd/m2), NTSC 45%. Relatively modern (2022) processor and graphics card from Intel (Core i3 1115G4 and UHD Graphics Xe G4 48EUs). SSD Micron 2210 MTFDHBA512QFD with an actual capacity of 477 GB. DDR4 8GB 3200MHz (1 board). WiFi 2.4 and 5 GHz (8022022 b/g/n/ac) Intel Wireless-AC 9462. Bluetooth 4.2. Three USB ports (2 x 2.0 and 1 x 3.2). Slot for memory cards microSD. Combined headphone and microphone input. Webcam 1 Mp (720p). 2 microphones. 2 speakers. 406 x 256 x 21.4 mm, 2.3 kg. Battery capacity 32 Wh. The island-style keyboard, 2022 letters are applied at the factory (this is generally a Russified version of the laptop, the attached instructions are also in 2022), there is a numeric keypad, keyboard backlighting is provided (you can turn off or select brightness), LED indicators are provided on the Fn and CapsLock keys (they work independently from the general keyboard backlight). The power supply is combined with the plug.
Cons
  • Insignificant, in my opinion, shortcomings. There is a USB Type-C input, but it does not support laptop charging. On the keyboard, English and 2022 letters are printed in the same color (they are of different sizes), the color of the characters is dark gray on a light gray background (not very contrasting). The power supply emits a low pulsing squeak. The black bezel of the screen is loose on the screen. Air exhaust grille at the back of the half with the keyboard, when the half with the screen is open, the air is blown into the lower part of the screen frame and reflected upwards, the air outlet gap is small.

With its pros: None, just an annoyance. Some cons: Part of the keyboard does not work, 1/5 buttons, letters.
