I bought two of these monitors to flank my nearly sunken center monitor. The attachment to the studs is much sturdier than the C-clamp used in most other mounts and it solved my problems with a flat table. I was able to line them up perfectly with minimal effort. I love everything about the product itself and the only reason it loses a star is because it is packaged in a very dangerous way. It is packed with large spring tension. and fastened with a zipper. When I opened the first one, it jumped up and ripped a very large chunk out of my thumb. There was blood everywhere. Be very careful when unpacking this product, otherwise you will need stitches.
