Review on ☂️ Optimized ShedRain WindPro Compact Umbrella with Vented Design by Crystal Thompson

I have bought umbrellas from this company 3 or 4 times over the years. In general they are very well preserved. I had a small issue with very strong winds/rain (this can happen in downtown Chicago). When my last umbrella had a spoke problem a few years later, I decided to buy a new one from this company and save the other one for emergencies. Well the new one arrived a few weeks ago and we haven't had any rain lately so I haven't needed it. I needed it today. It rained heavily after I got off my train to walk more than 10 minutes home. The umbrella opened well immediately and I was happy about the large diameter for covering. When I got home I pushed the button to close it so I could open the door. So far, so good. I am very happy with the umbrella. Once inside I want to open it up again so it can dry. In the half-open phase (lantern folded around the rod/handle) I press the button. And nothing. I looked at the instructions on how to close the storage screen. I'm supposed to push the umbrella and handle together. Seems logical enough, except I can't place them. I used the umbrella exactly once and I can't use it anymore because it won't open or close. real hit? My return window through Revain closed two days ago. To return it I would have to purchase a poster tube for shipping. I have visited Revain's corporate page and they are also unavailable. ShedRain: If you see this, help!
