The durability seems pretty good - my Dad has loved this case since he got it and it still looks brand new. Thickness doesn't seem to be an issue for him, and the convenience of keeping your ID and cards in one convenient place is something he greatly prefers. The case was a bit stiff at first, but seems to have softened, allowing it to flex slightly in his pockets, which doesn't make him uncomfortable when walking. Already saved him from a moderate fall - fingers crossed if more happen!
