So my parents bought our Nikon Coolpix P100 in 2010 but we lost our charger in 2013 and just stopped using the camera because we can't find it could . It's 2018 and I'm going to college, so I wanted to invest in a new camera. In my search, I found that cameras are more expensive than I thought, but I remembered we had one. So I was looking for a replacement cable. Looking through the reviews everyone said it would work so I had high hopes. I received the cable last night around 6am, it's now 1pm: 00 o'clock the next day and my camera is still not charged. I feel like I need a new battery so I went ahead and bought it. Overall I think this is charging the camera because I can see the orange light on the power button flashing, but I think it's because my battery isn't charging properly. I will update as soon as I receive my battery. In terms of quality, the cable seems to be quite durable. The package was like any other package. My only minor complaint would be that it fits in a charging case. The thick end of the cable didn't fit perfectly, but the thin end (which went into the camera) fitted like a glove.
