Review on πŸ”§ GEAR AID Wetsuit Repair Kit: Neoprene Patch for Seam and Tear Fixes, 6” x 10”, Black by Raquel Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly. Use a towel to protect the rest of your wetsuit from iron!

WARNING: Place a towel over the thermal paper to avoid contact or burns from the steam from the iron directly on the neoprene. (You can make the problem worse (as I originally did). This patch kit works great. Measure a piece, trim so you don't have sharp edges (round edges stick better). Lay heat-protection paper on top, then towel over place the heat release paper and then put on the iron.Slowly move it back and forth while maintaining contact with the patch (thin shiny line around the patch) Again cover with heat shield and towel and continue Try not to iron the non-ironed areas to overheat to burn through the neoprene.Check frequently to make sure you aren't overheating /4/3 out of the cold water.Get rid of my wetsuit for another season though!$15 is way better than $250!
