Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Renewed GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Master-R: HiFi DAC, PCIe4.0, RGB Fusion, Gaming Motherboard by Mike Sevenfourgd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My search for a suitable motherboard ended here

This is the third motherboard I have purchased from Revain. It's also the cheapest option, with ROG Dark Hero and ROG Crosshairs Formula being the top two. Leaking lids (no sleep / need to cycle power supply by unplugging power for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in - using 3 different power supplies - and corrupted memory traces - POST stopped - causing boards to come back. I lost hope I only saw the corrected version of this with zero reviews and went for it I had to get my computer up and running to work and I spent over a week diagnosing the first two boards Asus definitely doesn't have the best tech support telling me this since it's less than 30 days old just return it to where you got it the aorus board came in a plain white box 2 sata cables . No visual defects. No swollen covers. There was no connector protector (or any part of the board) in the box as this is a normal box htel traded it was in I didn't see how it was packaged. What happened? The Ryzen 5000 series processors were not taken out of the box. Bios flashed. Apparently there are 2 bios on this board. Bios 1 is only updated if there is no processor. What happened after the eruption I would name as close to the ice start as possible. It refused to POST until the processor was reinstalled 3 times with 1 stick memory and kept trying. I flashed both bios with the processor on and off. Replaced cmos with one known to work (the one that came with it was fine). It came to life when I put the 6800 XT in the last PCI slot instead of the usual first slot. Eventually the GPU and POST board caught fire. problems? If I'm being extremely picky, these boards had a known issue with some settings where more than 1 USB on the case was sometimes not recognized. And I'm absolutely glad that's the only problem. The money spent on these boards has taught me that it doesn't matter how much you spend on this class of motherboard. You can spend over $600 like me and get a Board of the Dead upon arrival. In fact, it might have been a lifesaver that Revain made sure the board worked while it was being repaired. The 5900x/4 RAM/6800 XT has been running 14 hours a day for over a week. I'm afraid it might jinx it but the board is perfect. Fully functional. Since there are no reviews yet I had to go back and leave one. After the first boot and flashing the BIOS, the board is perfect. I was very concerned about the $300 refurbished board when the last two were $600 and had so many problems. But Revain fixed that very well. Many Thanks. The saga of figuring out what's wrong and finding a solution is finally over. I would dare to believe it. At least according to the list, the technician checked that the board was working. I'm sure you can take that statement with a grain of salt, but I'm grateful it happened to me.
