Fast, functional and reliable. As far as I know you can't go wrong with ADATA drives. I bought this small capacity 120GB drive as an upgrade (I say upgrade specifically) for my old netbook, an ASUS Eee PC for those interested, and I have not been disappointed. Super fast boot time and easy installation - basically plug and play. While your mileage may vary from intended use to installation on your machine, know that this unit is arguably the best investment I've made in a long time. A note for those who don't read instructions (like me): while the drive is fairly "plug and play", as I mentioned, a spacer is included with an adhesive that adds 2cm to the height of the drive . This may be necessary for some laptops or even some desktop configurations. Unfortunately, the manual doesn't say that explicitly, but it's pretty obvious. Other than that, a great hard drive and possibly the best storage option if you can save a little extra money. Another note: my ASUS Eee PC is the most energy efficient since the update. How, I have no idea but when I turned it on with 0% battery and it still allowed me to save my work before it turned off. By the way, I have Linux. It makes this purchase even better - now I even have an extra 30 minutes on my laptop (again, I don't know how)!
