Review on 🔧 SCOSCHE Install Centric ICHA3BN: The Ultimate Installation Solution for Aftermarket Stereos in Honda/Acura 1999-06 Models by Kevin Cole

I bought this kit for a 2000 Odyssey which came with a standard single din CD player. The replacement is your ordinary single DIN Pioneer block. He wasn't nearly right. The plastic brackets did not erase the plastic molding of the dash, AND the brackets were installed a full INCH from contact with the dash mounting points while keeping the front of the head unit flush with the dash bezel. I am ASE certified. Technician and have installed countless head units in many different vehicles, so I can say with certainty that the problem is with the product. Although I followed the instructions on the Odyssey packaging, the kit didn't go in. I wonder why anyone at Scosche thought this would be appropriate. My previous experiences have been with Metra kits. I was far from happy with them (which led me to try the Scosche set) but at least they would fit even if I had to modify it. There was no way I wanted to adapt the Scosche kit to my needs. I will NEVER buy another Scosche product if I can help. I advise you to follow their example.
