We've been looking for battery operated LED lights for a long time and just around the holidays we found them, the perfect length for our windows, 50" x 36". We ordered six strings and rechargeable AA batteries. The light strings are so light I was able to tape them to the glass around the windows with invisible postal tape, and the battery pack (3 AA each) lay on the windowsill. The remote control has all the necessary settings, as well as a 6-hour timer function that repeats every day, and we don't do anything. So our lights go on at 4:30am and off at 10:30am. We've had them for 4 days now and none of them have a problem; We haven't had to charge the batteries yet. The light they emit is warm like an incandescent bulb and without the harsh white "LED" look. In terms of price, convenience and appearance, these lights meet all of our requirements. FICTION!
