tread carefully

Caution should always be exercised when getting a piercing at home, but it should be stressed that a nose piercing is not the same as an ear piercing. Piercing your own ear and keeping it clean is as easy as a drunk monkey. However, nose piercings require a saline solution and careful washing to avoid infection. So I took my time and got ready, bought the solution and all. But it's a blunt weapon. . . Other reviewers were right: the trigger is defective. I had to poke my nose twice in the same hole (oops!) because the needle almost came off and refused to go all the way. The blood spatter scared me because I thought I had disfigured my nose. I didn't, and in fact it didn't even hurt. It was like being suddenly punched in the face. But because the needle fell out the first time, my piercing wasn't exactly where I wanted it to be. However, it looks nice and I saved a lot of money, so I'm giving "value for money" three stars. So, in the end, it boils down to this: are you willing to take the risk of ruining your nose to save money? Is it worth the risk to you? I was willing to take the risk so I bought this and now I have a cheap piercing that's a little off. I still love it and think it's cute. But going to a pro would make it quicker and less scary. Again, it didn't hurt, but as the blood spurted onto my face, I was afraid for a moment.

Pros
  • Easy to use - you can even pierce your own nose! It's as easy as using a stapler. Hold both ends of the piercing gun, align the tip of the stud with the mark and press firmly. and then release your hand, the needle tip enters the nose plug, the nose plug falls off naturally, and the puncture is complete. Or ask your family and friends to help with piercing, that would be great.
Cons
  • Not sure
