Review on πŸ”  Sizzix 662228 Tim Holtz Blue Thinlits Dies: Upper and Lower Case Alphabet with Numbers for Crafting by Karla Richter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

These letters and numbers work great, but how difficult to organize!

These letters and numbers are a great size for my handmade greeting cards and the font is easy to glue together to make it look like it's from Word Die. The first thing I did was run them all through my Big Shot onto multiple layers of unflavored dryer sheets so they popped out of the mold easily. One difficulty - dots above "i" are so small! Difficult to take several and stack them for clarity when this point is tiny! I often use rhinestones or beads instead. They were all thrown together in a thick envelope (nice touch!) in the plastic packaging and looking at their edge it took forever to figure out which letter or number was what! So I bought some magnetic register covers here at Revain (Accord AMAGCOV815 Magnetic Vent Cover, 8" x 15", 3-pack) and cut them to fit in these zippered storage bags (Plymor 6" x 8 " ). , 4 mil (pack of 100) heavy duty resealable ziplock plastic bags) and was able to fit the entire set onto a magnetic square cut to 5x7. Now I can just take out the letters I want and put them back in. I confess that halfway through sorting, I decided to draw a letter and number on the back of the stamp with a marker. Just in case they screw it up again! ;) So a quality product, perfect size for card making, but they need to start printing an image, letter, number, etc. on the back of the punching knife. :)
