I stumbled across these while looking for something different and they looked promising. Pros: + Reasonable price $6.41, free shipping if I bought 2 of them. + Metal-free heavy sponge with microfiber coating. + Handle for a secure grip + Tapered shape, measures 1-1/2" at the end, 2-1/2" at the side of the handle. The cleaning area is approximately 8 inches long from the tip to the beginning of the handle. Cons: - We've used them twice and the wide end seems too wide for our vehicles. - The microfiber cover must be removed to squeeze the water out of the sponge. - The microfiber cover must be removed for washing. The microfiber is already worn down to the seams. :( If they hold up I'll consider upgrading the product's rating. , one of the two I bought is loose!? The pen has a long stem that is pressed into the sponge and secured with glue I took it off Let's see what's up The stem only stuck in 2 places Glue applied sparingly at the end didn't work in the sponge ▪ It's VERY annoying after only 2 uses ► Updated April 7, 2015 ▪ It's handy but I had a bug today! Plastic stick jumped out of the end.. through the sponge and onto the cloth sleeve! It was the same stick I was trying to fix. :( ▪ I still like this handy cleaning stick so I ordered 2 more. If they hold up, I might consider upgrading my product ► Update - February 18, 2016 as they are VERY comfortable they are quite cheap so I buy spares so I have on hand the ones that are beyond repair.
