It works! Better than new!
This replaced a "rotten" old sponge in my LK150 knit bed. This prevents the needles from lifting and jamming during the knitting process. Now I know a lot more about how this machine works and this new sponge works better than the original even when it's brand new. By the way, you don't need to glue, the needles hold. I suppose a short piece of double sided tape on the ends might make you feel more secure, but I didn't feel the need!
