Perhaps my reading skills are declining with age, or "dry leaves" are now defined as rolled brown wax paper. Also, I doubt they were ever laid flat and made their way from the shipping envelope to the bin. I figured these were leaves I could use in a food dehydrator to keep the plastic leaves from getting fruit stains, which I dry in an open mesh hanging section. They are incredibly thin and small pieces of fruit cannot hold them flat. I don't have an Excalibur, that's not really up to date, but even if I did I still wouldn't use it and it would still be rated 1 star. As other reviewers have pointed out and I wasn't reading too late, I'll be looking for a reusable Teflon or plastic mesh at a lower price. I have a SUOMEI 4-layer hanging herb dryer and I don't want objects to stick to it and/or soil it because it's not easy to clean. Not only are they useless, I doubt they will be effective as they are non-porous...although they look like the photos. It also broadens the definition of "premium" and maybe $4 makes them more expensive to other reviewers. I don't need this and having seen this I would suggest buying parchment or wax paper instead.
