Review on πŸ”΄ Red KISS Titanium Flat Iron, 1/2-inch by Stephanie Elliott

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Cymbals are NOT flush! BOW.

Why is it so hard to design 1/2 inch flush plate irons?! Stop springing the links so much that the main function of the FFS iron is compromised. The gap here was unreal, look at the photo. I'm a physically strong woman and I had to work so hard to get these plates to not just pull but actually push against my hair, it was ridiculous! My hand is TIRED. I have a fairly short haircut - good luck if you have long hair. Another thing is my goals, oh my god, my goals. ), I basically couldn't get it closer to the ends because it started pulling and yanking at my hair. I have normal to fine hair - girls if you're like me this isn't the straightener for you. I can only imagine it working for those with thick or lots of hair who aren't afraid of losing it. I also didn't like how the tops of the plates were. They ended up being so rough I had to drag them there ALSO. Again, see photos. I think with a lot of effort the thing did what it was supposed to do, but it's not enough, there are better. The same cheap HSI mini 1/2 inch iron has completely flat plates and gets the job done perfectly. It would be a perfect iron if it had that temperature control (the only good thing about it) but unfortunately I've obviously gotten this one back.
