Shock absorber not leaking but excess assembly grease dripped onto my new carpet. I am very unhappy with the huge pile of fish oil that stained my carpet. The rest of the chair is fine. The shape of the saddle is a little strange and puts pressure on the buttocks from the outside. Edit: After trying to remove the grease, I found that the carpet just under the chair had come loose. Apparently the metal clip at the bottom of the cartridge has sharp edges and rotates with the pad. This clip is at floor level and will be pressed into the carpet when used on carpet. The clip started chafing a hole in my carpet and rubbing the lube into the fibers. This is really terrible design.
